The WNC Fly Fishing Trail fishing report is published weekly on Mondays by lunchtime. It is compiled by the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, the N.C. Trout Capital and WNC Fly Fishing Trail team. Each month, one of our local fishing guides provides the report, outlining the best times to fish in Jackson County, and what the fish are biting on this month. We also try to let you know when our rivers and streams are stocked as well as when delayed harvest dates are.
